About the position

The Salesforce Technical Architect will join the Ansys Enterprise Applications Architecture team to lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce platform capabilities. This role involves transforming business requirements into scalable and efficient solutions, leveraging deep technical expertise in Salesforce. The architect will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs and best practices, ultimately driving the growth of Ansys business through innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive Sales Cloud solutions, including Sales Process, Opportunity Management, Account Management, and Sales Analytics.
  • Develop and maintain complex Account Management solutions, including data modeling, workflow automation, and integration with other Salesforce cloud products like Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud.
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of Salesforce/Force.com projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system design, data models, and technical specifications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce implementation, with a focus on Sales Cloud and Account Management.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data modeling, workflow automation, and integration with other Salesforce clouds.
  • Experience with Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, flow automation.
  • Experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform/Mulesoft Composer to connect Salesforce with other enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in implementing Salesforce Account Management and Opportunity/Forecasting Management for complex company structures.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple complex projects, and coordinate colleagues across geographically diverse locations.
  • Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience in multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)
