About the position

We are seeking a Senior Technical Content Writer who possesses a deep understanding of GitHub, HTML, and HTML/CSS. The ideal candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of experience in technical writing, showcasing a proven track record of producing clear, concise, and engaging technical documentation and content. This role is crucial for developing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation that includes user guides, API documentation, tutorials, and release notes. The Senior Technical Content Writer will collaborate closely with engineers, developers, and product managers to gather information and fully understand the technical aspects of our products. In this position, you will be responsible for writing, editing, and proofreading content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency. You will utilize GitHub for version control and collaborative writing processes, creating and maintaining web-based documentation using HTML and CSS. It is essential that all content adheres to the company's style guide and branding guidelines. Additionally, you will continuously update and improve existing documentation to reflect new features and updates, conducting content reviews and incorporating feedback from various stakeholders to enhance the quality of the documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, tutorials, and release notes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the technology industry.
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for web-based documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and user-friendly documentation.
• Experience with content management systems and documentation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
