About the position

As a Senior Product Manager at Cisco ThousandEyes, you will oversee the Cloud Agent and Enterprise Agent components, focusing on expanding the Cloud Agent fleet and supporting hardware platforms. Your role involves strategic growth, collaboration with engineering teams, and direct engagement with sales and support teams to enhance product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Cloud Agent Operations and Enterprise Agent engineering teams to align roadmaps and quarterly plans with the broader organizational strategy.
  • Identify new geographical locations and use cases for Cloud Agents, as well as new device platforms and opportunities for Enterprise Agents.
  • Deep dive into the way we build, secure, deploy, and operate agents at scale both within our Cloud Agent locations and how our customer practitioners make use of the Enterprise Agent.
  • Bring an entrepreneurial spirit and a focus on data driven insights to help build a long term strategy for the team.
  • Generate and shepherd creative ideas, both large and small, that bring value to customers and the business.
  • Stay hands-on with customers to keep them happy today, while gaining insight for future ideas.
  • Thoughtfully prioritize to maximize the impact of organizational effort.

Requirements

  • Proven product management experience (at least 3+ years), with demonstrated success in product delivery, ideally at an Enterprise SaaS company.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent technical experience; higher level degree (MBA, MS, etc.) a bonus but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas.
  • Customer-focused, self-starter with high levels of initiative, commitment, energy, and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
  • A collaborative spirit and comfort working in a team environment.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Exceptional project management skills with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Experience with Linux Systems, TCP/IP Networking, Cloud, and other technical concepts.

  • Technical Acumen: Comfortable in the code is a plus, but not required.
  • Product Sense: Ability to design and build the best product experience by gathering insights from various teams.
