We are looking to add a Senior Technical Product Manager to our growing Platform Team where you will drive the evolution of our Software Platform and Infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have both technical depth and solid product management experience, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders to ensure products meet the highest quality standards. In this role, you will gain deep technical knowledge of the Alarm.com architecture and leverage exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills to drive platform improvements. You will work closely with the Operations team to identify opportunities and drive enhancements to the deployment and operations processes, collaborating to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will run qualitative and quantitative product research across all Alarm.com teams to deeply understand their pain points and future needs. Building strong relationships and collaborating closely with key stakeholders will be essential to build consensus and drive the platform roadmap and vision. You will prioritize and manage the product backlog, balancing short-term tactical goals with long-term strategic product initiatives. Additionally, you will own and contribute to the entire product development lifecycle, from writing detailed product specifications to working cross-functionally with engineering to ensure timely delivery of platform enhancements. Your role will also involve championing enhancements to Alarm.com's software stack to improve reliability, scalability, and developer productivity.
