About the position

The Senior Technical Product Manager at Disney Experiences will lead the delivery of innovative features for the Disney Store, enhancing guest experiences through strategic product management. This role involves shaping product vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure successful product launches and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the product vision, strategy, and roadmap throughout the entire product delivery process.
  • Lead requirement-gathering, user story creation, prioritization, and execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics to track product performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Prioritize with business, product, and engineering partners, managing technical discussions to drive alignment.
  • Coordinate and communicate iterative product releases and updates, ensuring timely delivery and smooth deployment.
  • Identify potential risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies to project timelines or deliverables.
  • Serve as a passionate advocate for the product(s), educating stakeholders and customers about product features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5+ years of product management experience, with a technical focus.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and scaling products by recognizing customer needs and creating a vision.
  • Strong technical knowledge with experience leading initiatives that span several teams and functional areas.
  • Proven ability to translate customer and business needs through requirements and user stories.
  • Experience leading teams within an agile, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communicator with proven ability to bring clarity and direction through written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data and hypothesis-driven aptitude, with the ability to flex business and technical thinking.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with consumer-facing experiences and services.
  • Experience within the eCommerce and merchandising industries.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, and Confluence.
  • Familiarity with design principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and test automation principles.
