About the position

The Senior Technical Product Manager at Raft is responsible for designing and executing tailored Kubernetes or Docker solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) mission environments. This role involves overseeing software delivery using GitOps principles, managing product roadmaps, and acting as a liaison between the client and the internal team to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. The position requires a balance of product management and solution architecting, with a focus on building strong relationships with stakeholders and driving repeat business with DoD clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute bespoke Kubernetes or Docker solutions for DoD mission environments.
• Scope and prioritize activities based on the product roadmap.
• Oversee the application of GitOps principles for software delivery.
• Act as a product evangelist, building awareness and maximizing mission impact.
• Capture candid feedback from clients and internal teams to improve service delivery.
• Manage product road mapping and ensure all contractual deliverables are executed accurately and on time.
• Assist with solution architecting for RFI and RFP responses.

Requirements

• Direct experience supporting and working in the SOCOM ecosystem.
• 4+ years of hands-on product development/product management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of computer science and software development lifecycles, including a working knowledge of programming.
• Experience with product road mapping.
• Knowledge and experience with cloud services.
• Experience with GitOps and Jira.

Nice-to-haves

• Proven track record managing favorable profit and loss.
• AWS knowledge and experience.
• Agile certification(s).
• Experience working in a software factory environment.
• Experience with ATO and RMF processes.
