About the position

As a Senior Technical Product Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience by connecting it with innovative technology solutions. You will join the Sales, Marketing, and Global Services Operations (SMGS Ops) team, which is dedicated to enabling the AWS field organization to operate with maximum efficiency and effectiveness. The mission of the SMGS Ops team is to minimize inefficiencies and costs associated with sales while identifying opportunities to accelerate revenue growth. This involves delivering tools, data, mechanisms, and processes that drive new sales strategies. In this role, you will facilitate engagement with various product and service owners across different organizations, focusing on business strategy and roadmap execution while representing the interests of the Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS). You will actively participate in developing the strategy and roadmap across multiple pillars within the organization, playing a key role in defining business requirements, project execution, and product launches. You will be expected to provide an independent perspective to create proposals and recommendations for organizational and customer leadership team reviews. Additionally, you will own mechanisms to ensure customer and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle, from initiation to execution and launch, while regularly monitoring progress and resolving issues. This position requires a blend of creativity and analytical thinking, as you will work closely with technology, UX design, data science, program management, legal, security, and finance teams to define and manage complex product roadmaps.
