About the position

The Senior Technical Product Manager at Travel + Leisure Co. is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction for product initiatives within the organization. This role involves defining product vision and strategy, prioritizing features based on market analysis, and mentoring junior team members. The position acts as a technical subject matter expert, driving product innovation and optimizing performance metrics to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for product initiatives, ensuring alignment between product roadmap and organizational goals.
• Define and prioritize product features to deliver maximum value to customers, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, advocating for customer and stakeholder needs.
• Define and refine product requirements based on market feedback and data analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery, implementing processes to streamline issue resolution.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert, providing guidance on technical architecture, design, and implementation.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives, analyzing metrics to optimize product features.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Preference for MBA and/or equivalent work experience.
• Deep understanding of product management principles and best practices in hospitality, eCommerce, and/or Information Technology.
• 8 years of experience in product management and/or running technical projects/programs, including experience in a senior or lead role.
• Strong communication skills to effectively articulate product vision and strategy to executive stakeholders.
• Experience managing web and mobile projects that require in-depth partnership with IT/technical counterparts.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire, mentor, and coach cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Certified SCRUM Product Owner Certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite, Content Management System (CMS), and Digital Analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Full Story, Quantum Metrics).
• Experience using project management tools (Jira, Basecamp, VersionOne, etc.).
• Innovative thinking to drive product innovation and differentiation.
• Change management expertise to navigate organizational transitions.
