About the position

The Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager for Hardware at eero, an Amazon company, is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for eero's hardware portfolio. This role involves understanding customer needs, synthesizing data from various sources, and creating compelling value propositions. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation, oversee go-to-market strategies, and ensure effective positioning and messaging for eero's products. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to enhance customer experiences and drive product success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic narrative framework for messaging and positioning of eero's hardware product portfolio.
  • Maintain deep product expertise by fostering relationships with Product leadership and understanding technical considerations.
  • Drive eero's hardware product portfolio strategy and oversee the launch of new products and releases.
  • Own the hardware innovation roadmap for research and customer insights to ensure customer-centric products.
  • Gather and analyze competitive intelligence to inform marketing strategies and sales enablement materials.
  • Manage pricing strategy, forecasting, and conduct business analyses related to hardware products.
  • Serve as a technical marketing lead throughout the hardware development lifecycle.
  • Support early hardware roadmap concepts by translating customer requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an associated discipline.
  • 10+ years of product marketing, Go-To-Market, product management, or program management experience with hardware or software programs.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering go-to-market plans.
  • Superb written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Technical category experience or willingness to learn about networking technology.
  • Passion for experimentation and continuous learning.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative mindset.
  • Deep understanding of research and insights to inform product strategy.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA degree preferred.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects to strict deadlines.
  • Confident and self-motivated with a strong bias for action.
  • Experience driving new business segment or service launches.
  • Understanding of key business motions like forecasting and P&L management.
  • Familiarity with B2C and B2B go-to-market motions.
