About the position

As a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager at Brex, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative and positioning of our AI-powered spend platform. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop platform capabilities that cater to a diverse range of customer segments, from startups to large enterprises. You will be tasked with creating compelling narratives and thought leadership content that inspire finance leaders to rethink their approach to managing company finances. This involves crafting overarching messaging that highlights our platform's capabilities in artificial intelligence, reporting, security, compliance, and integrations. In addition to developing messaging, you will help shape our embedded finance go-to-market strategy by designing innovative monetization and distribution plans. Your collaboration with Brex's product, sales, and marketing teams will be crucial for executing high-visibility initiatives, including product launches and marketing programs. As the go-to internal product marketing expert for the Brex platform, you will ensure that our messaging is clear and consistent across all marketing and sales channels. Furthermore, you will manage and promote our API offerings, focusing on their design and functionality to enable seamless connections with other financial systems. This role requires a deep understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience. You will be expected to drive alignment and influence strategic product and go-to-market stakeholders, ensuring that our marketing efforts are aligned with the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Brex product and engineering teams to develop platform capabilities that meet the needs of all customer segments, from startups to enterprises.
  • Develop platform-wide narratives and thought leadership content that inspire finance leaders to redefine how they manage their company finances.
  • Create the overarching messaging and positioning for the Brex platform and ecosystem, highlighting our capabilities in artificial intelligence, reporting, security, compliance, and integrations.
  • Help shape our embedded finance go-to-market strategy by crafting a compelling product offering, creating a powerful narrative, and designing innovative monetization/distribution plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Brex's product, sales, and marketing teams on high-visibility initiatives, including product launches, marketing programs, and field enablement.
  • Serve as the go-to internal product marketing expert for the Brex platform, ensuring a clear and consistent message across all marketing and sales channels.
  • Manage and promote our API offerings, including design, functionality, and how they enable seamless connections with other financial systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical product marketing role
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales and marketing
  • Deep knowledge in systems design, architecture, infrastructure, and tooling
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into compelling narratives
  • Ability to drive alignment and influence strategic product and GTM stakeholders
  • Must be willing to work in office 2 days per week on Wednesday and Thursday

  • Competitive salary range of $165,884 - $207,355 based on experience and location
