About the position

The Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager for Veeam Data Platform is responsible for transforming complex technology into compelling, benefits-driven content. This role focuses on leading the technical blog and webinar strategy, collaborating with product management and marketing teams to develop messaging for innovative features, and simplifying technical concepts for various audiences. The position aims to bridge the gap between technology and customer value, enhancing Veeam's market positioning and driving engagement with both prospects and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop the technical blog, webinar, and content strategy for Veeam Data Platform.
  • Manage the lifecycle of all technical assets, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Act as the technical resource, explaining realizable benefits in a customer-digestible story.
  • Collaborate with product management and product strategy teams to craft marketing content for the latest Veeam innovations.
  • Design and support campaigns using technical know-how to create interactive demos, technical videos, and webinars.
  • Develop and execute launch assets for new technologies and support.
  • Simplify technical benefits to resonate with end-users and partners, captivating prospects and maintaining loyal customers.
  • Partner with the PMM team to refine Veeam's market positioning, leveraging knowledge of competitive landscapes and buyer personas.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B software roles (technical sales, sales engineering, product marketing, or product management); backup, recovery, security, or monitoring experience preferred.
  • Strong technical acumen, able to convey complex concepts as business value; experience with software, cloud, or aaS delivery is a plus.
  • Skilled storyteller with the ability to communicate compelling technical visions, verbally and in writing, to drive business results.
  • Comfortable presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on setting and improving metrics, KPIs, and impact.
  • Innovative thinker who challenges norms, experiments with new ideas, and drives market and mindshare growth.
  • Proactive leader capable of managing multiple projects autonomously and building new initiatives in a dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative team player who fosters alignment and executes on shared goals.
  • Customer-focused, prioritizing the entire customer journey.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • Comfortable in a remote, global team environment; willing to travel up to 15%.
