About the position

The Senior Product Marketing Manager at Atlassian will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of project management solutions for both technical and business teams. This position requires a deep understanding of agile project management and collaborative work management, along with the ability to create compelling technical content that resonates with IT, Engineering, and Business leaders. The role involves working cross-functionally with various teams to enhance Atlassian's position in the market and support the development of marketing materials that effectively communicate product value.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption of project management solutions for technical and business teams.
  • Create compelling technical content including demos, videos, presentations, blogs, webinars, and white papers.
  • Develop storytelling around cross-functional collaboration, project management, teamwork, and knowledge management.
  • Build trusted relationships with analysts and influencers through briefings, demos, and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with product management and sales teams to shape product strategy and create technical content.
  • Work with stakeholders in Product, Design, and Marketing to prioritize content needs and distribute new content across channels.
  • Support analyst reports, go-to-market motions, campaigns, and Atlassian events.

Requirements

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in product marketing, solutions consulting, sales engineering, or product management.
  • Strong communication skills and adept at presenting product value to IT buyers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in defining and delivering technical product marketing deliverables.
  • Ability to switch context from technical conversations to creating compelling marketing content.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar software is strongly preferred.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with asset management, discovery, configuration, and related topics.
  • B2B marketing experience.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian solutions and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
  • Experience with video editing tools like Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud, or Apple Final Cut Pro.
