About the position

The Senior Technical Program Manager for AI Delivery Project Integration will play a crucial role in managing critical AI infrastructure deployment projects, specifically focusing on GPU-specific data center retrofit services. This position requires deep partnerships across various programs and aims to drive innovation while ensuring timely delivery of AI platform services at cloud scale. The role is part of the Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) team, which is responsible for powering one of the world's largest cloud infrastructures. The successful candidate will be accountable for specific AI delivery schedules and will leverage resources across the company to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Create relationships to drive orchestration and integration efforts for the development and implementation process of multiple schedules for large and complex cross-functional projects with internal teams and external partners.
• Collaborate and coordinate across organizations to ensure alignment on these schedules and their execution, including trade-offs, adjustments, and improvements as feasible.
• Track, coordinate, and communicate end-to-end project schedules (e.g., milestones, timeline, change) for multiple projects.
• Establish and monitor processes and help hold stakeholders accountable for following the established schedule and processes.
• Track and manage dependencies to enable cohesive, connected user scenarios, and identify potential risk areas and escalate appropriately.
• Adjust or course correct when projects are not aligned to schedule or goals.
• Connect the team building data centers to Microsoft customers, representing the voice of the customer in all meetings.
• Drive project cycle time reduction while addressing gaps in the project.
• Build high confidence schedules by reviewing them with project team members and maintaining predictability as much as possible.
• Focus on standardization across all projects to ensure predictable outcomes, improve transparency of issues and mitigation, and enhance ownership resulting in improved KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• Ability to meet customer and/or government security screening requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects of large-scale global program management in either infrastructure technology deployment or capacity planning for cloud services.
• Proficient in MS Project, Office Suite, and some SQL & PowerBI experience.
