About the position

The Technical Program Manager for the AI Platform Inference Team at NVIDIA will lead initiatives focused on Deep Learning Inference, supporting top AI researchers and engineers. This role involves managing engineering programs, coordinating with cross-company teams, and ensuring alignment and execution of projects in a dynamic environment. The manager will develop planning and reporting practices to achieve ambitious objectives while fostering collaboration among software, hardware, and tooling teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage with cross-company teams to plan and coordinate programs to meet key business objectives.
• Guide engineering programs in all aspects of program management including planning, forecasting, and scheduling.
• Implement agile methodologies within engineering teams.
• Develop and implement metrics for measuring program effectiveness and improvement areas.
• Report on overall program status, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Drive organizational alignment and efficiency by coordinating with multi-functional leads.
• Collaborate with hardware program managers to implement inference libraries.

Requirements

• Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years program management experience managing global projects across multiple time zones.
• Ability to think strategically and tactically to build consensus for program success.
• Proven experience in creatively resolving technical issues and resource conflicts.
• Thorough knowledge of software engineering best practices and hardware bring-up.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Hands-on experience in a fast-paced software development environment.
• Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.
• Extensive experience with At Scale Agile tools and reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and GPU technology.
• Prior experience in software-hardware bring-up and production application software development.
