About the position

Oracle is making a large global investment to deliver the most open, secure, reliable, and progressive Cloud platform to help its customers through their generational shift to the cloud. As the Senior Technical Program Manager, you will have a direct impact on leading the day-to-day capacity management for the leading product of Oracle Database Public Cloud hardware. In this role, you will be working across many functional teams such as engineering, product management, finance, product marketing, and sales. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work directly with customers, providing thorough visibility on cloud adoption and transition from on-premises to Oracle Cloud. This position allows you to help Oracle improve and scale its cloud capacity management, making it a critical role in the organization. We require a candidate with very strong verbal, analytical, documentation, presentation, and project management skills. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical collaborators, enjoy working with data, and be a great teammate. You should be willing to prioritize and able to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities effectively. This role is not just about managing projects; it’s about leading initiatives that will shape the future of Oracle’s cloud offerings and ensuring that our customers have the best possible experience as they transition to our platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day capacity management for Oracle Database Public Cloud hardware.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, finance, product marketing, and sales teams.
  • Work directly with customers to provide visibility on cloud adoption and transition.
  • Help improve and scale Oracle's cloud capacity management processes.
  • Document requirements and manage project timelines effectively.

Requirements

  • 6 years of Enterprise Software/Cloud customer experience.
  • Strong experience in capacity management, supply chain planning, or similar.
  • Advanced PL/SQL skills with experience in complex data processing, gathering, and analysis.
  • Exceptional analytics and data analysis skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to document requirements clearly.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience managing functional and operational requirements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Product/technical experience with Infrastructure, Cloud, Enterprise, B2B Businesses.
  • BS degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics/Science/Engineering.
