About the position

The Senior Technical Program Manager for the AWS Training and Certification (T&C) Business Intelligence (BI) team will drive strategic initiatives and shape the long-term BI and data analytics roadmap for AWS T&C. This role involves collaborating with analytics teams to solve complex business challenges, providing insights into key performance indicators (KPIs), and leading the implementation of BI best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive the successful delivery of complex, mission-critical business intelligence (BI) and analytics programs across AWS.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, translating their needs into actionable program plans.
• Partner with functional leaders to design and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade BI solutions, including a single source of truth for data and reporting.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, implementing processes and tools to improve program visibility, transparency, and governance.
• Lead the implementation of BI best practices, tools, and standards across the organization.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of program managers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience with tools like Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, SQL, ETL, Python, AWS Glue, and AWS Athena.
