About the position

The Senior Technical Program Manager for the AWS Training and Certification (T&C) Business Intelligence (BI) team is responsible for driving strategic initiatives and shaping the long-term BI and data analytics roadmap. This role involves collaborating with analytics teams to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, leading complex BI and analytics programs, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions across AWS. The position requires a data-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about leveraging data to solve business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Drive the successful delivery of complex, mission-critical business intelligence (BI) and analytics programs across AWS.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to define requirements, manage dependencies, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to senior stakeholders, translating their needs into actionable program plans.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Partner with functional leaders to design and deliver scalable, enterprise-grade BI solutions, including a single source of truth for data and reporting.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, implementing processes and tools to improve program visibility, transparency, and governance.
• Lead the implementation of BI best practices, tools, and standards across the organization.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of program managers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience with tools like Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, SQL, ETL, Python, AWS Glue, and AWS Athena
