About The Position

The Senior Technical Program Manager for Client Web & Mobile at Northwestern Mutual is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing complex, cross-functional technical solutions across multiple products. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience.
• Four or more years of project management experience in technology and/or business functions.
• Experience with project management methodologies or SDLC (systems development life cycle).
• Prior experience with website and mobile development.
• Working knowledge of project management/agile tooling.
• Ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, and business leaders.
• Experience managing large scale, cross-functional initiatives using various delivery methodologies (i.e. waterfall, agile, lean, scrum, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intellectual curiosity and a desire to dig into details and learn.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for driving specific aspects of a larger program with medium complexity.
• Make connections across teams to drive identification and managing of inter-dependencies.
• Define the program structure and create a unified plan to deliver on program objectives.
• Drive for clarity on objectives, priorities, and measures.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, and remove impediments.
