About the position

The Senior Technical Program Manager for Data Cloud at Salesforce is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within the Technology & Products organizations. This role involves managing technical program management across Data Cloud product and engineering functions, collaborating with various teams to drive strategy, and ensuring effective communication and workflow throughout the organization. The position requires a strong focus on aligning program scope, release planning, and business goals while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and learning.

Responsibilities

• Lead programs by aligning across program scope and release planning.
• Drive teams through the Software engineering experience using Agile methodologies.
• Conduct Steering Committee meetings with key partners to make decisions and address program issues.
• Ensure business goals are met and drive the strategic vision of each program.
• Develop strong partnerships with key functional team members to focus on business goals.
• Serve as a trusted partner for executive management to ensure program success.
• Facilitate workgroup alignment meetings to address tactical release issues and team status.
• Manage dependencies across multiple teams and functions.
• Anticipate and remove obstacles that hinder project teams from achieving goals.
• Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience managing technical, complex initiatives & projects for a SaaS/PaaS based Product Development organization.
• Ability to partner with all functions across the company effectively.
• Experience with product development lifecycle and software development lifecycle, practicing Lean and Agile principles.
• Proven ability to prioritize and organize work to align with organizational goals.
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to manage performance and expectations in a cross-functional environment.
• Experience managing projects with remote and global team members.
