About the position

As a Senior Technical Program Manager for Finance at EarnIn, you will collaborate with the CFO and Finance leads to identify, scope, and build essential capabilities for the Finance team to support the company's growth. This role focuses on enabling finance as a key customer group, ensuring that all end-user products can be effectively supported by internal Finance teams. The position is based in Palo Alto HQ and requires hybrid work with in-office attendance two days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and strategy for Finance capabilities, including customer and general ledgers, finance reporting and reconciliation capabilities, and finance analytics.
  • Lead planning with finance teams (accounting, treasury, financial planning, and financial operations) to build a roadmap of capabilities to drive EarnIn's scaling efforts.
  • Define and manage KPIs, providing insights through data analysis and iterative improvements.
  • Work with product teams to identify necessary product changes impacting accounting, treasury, or planning flows, tools, or reports, and ensure timely delivery through engineering teams.
  • Advocate for and educate teams on the vision for Finance tooling and capabilities.
  • Ensure product offerings comply with regulatory requirements by collaborating with compliance, legal, and risk management teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product or Technical Program Management.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues and opportunities and track KPIs.
  • Deep understanding of accounting principles and their application to product development.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with finance, legal, and compliance teams to align product goals with financial strategies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate financial goals into actionable product strategies.
  • Experience in building finance applications and a strong understanding of operational finance activities, such as accounting, forecasting, and treasury management.
