About the position

As a Technical Program Manager on the ACE team at Atlassian, you will play a crucial role in unlocking the potential of teams across the company. Responsibilities

• Define and manage technical program goals and success metrics.
• Translate business objectives into technical requirements to be prioritized and solved.
• Utilize technical understanding to partner with engineers and architects in delivering solutions.
• Build project plans for delivery and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Make data-driven decisions for projects, balancing speed of delivery with risks and impact.
• Manage complex dependencies and projects with a broad scope across the company.
• Champion change and drive the adoption of best practices in projects.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or technical product/program management.
• Strategic thinking and ability to understand business objectives.
• Technical understanding of systems involved, with a willingness to develop domain expertise.
• Experience defining and running end-to-end complex technical programs.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
