About the position

The Senior Technical Program Manager at Snowflake will play a crucial role in defining and delivering critical programs that have a significant organizational, business, and technical impact. This position involves cross-functional leadership, collaboration with engineering and product management teams, and the opportunity to shape a high-performance platform that supports Snowflake's core features and services.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver critical programs with broad organizational, business, and technical impact.
• Provide cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Product Management, ensuring effective communication across teams.
• Utilize strong, data-driven technical judgment in decision-making processes.
• Work closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers to design, build, and deliver new services and applications.
• Educate and mentor the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational execution and increase engineering productivity.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience leading medium to large complex engineering projects in cloud technologies.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with ambiguity and competing priorities.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and other product life cycle functions.
• Strong program management skills with both technical and business acumen.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with both technical and non-technical groups.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation, and organizational skills.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
