The Value Stream Acceleration Services team, part of the Engineering, Product, Innovation and Cloud (EPIC) organization, plays a crucial role in serving a portfolio of value streams that contribute to our enterprise SaaS product. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Product Operations Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your strong leadership skills to promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will champion best practices in program management and execution to support our product initiatives. Your responsibilities will include applying your technical acumen to guide project planning and execution, focusing on customer experience, and analyzing complex challenges to develop innovative solutions. You will assist in leading complex, cross-functional program activities, ensuring alignment with program outcomes and timelines, and fostering collaboration among team members to achieve project milestones. Additionally, you will engage in continuous learning and improvement, contributing to process improvement initiatives and risk management throughout the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Apply familiarity with software development processes to guide project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Focus on the customer experience (internal and external), leveraging a customer-centric lens to represent the customers' needs and preferences within a program or initiative.
  • Analyze complex challenges that arise during project execution, identify root causes, and drive development of innovative solutions to overcome them.
  • Assist in leading complex, cross-function program activities, ensuring alignment with program outcomes and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Engage in continuous learning and improvement by being partnered with a mentor and attending workshops and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to continual process improvement initiatives to enhance program delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify program risks and issues early and assist in developing mitigation strategies. Monitor risks throughout the program lifecycle and escalate as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a product operations or related role in a SaaS organization, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, project and program management concepts.
  • Ability to leverage a customer-centric lens to represent the customers' needs and preferences within a program or initiative.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in collaborating effectively within fast-paced team environments.
  • High ownership and accountability mindset.
  • Able to perform in a hybrid-office role, requiring three or more days per week in the office.

  • Out-of-the-box thinker and results-driven problem solver, excited to dive into tough problems and committed to delivering clear business outcomes.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI, Qualtrics.
  • Preferred certifications include: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LPM.
