About the position

The Product Operations Program Manager at UKG will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience and driving program management excellence within the Value Stream Acceleration Services team. This position focuses on fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while leveraging strong leadership skills to support product initiatives and ensure the delivery of maximum value to customers.

Responsibilities

• Apply familiarity with software development processes to guide project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Focus on the customer experience (internal and external), representing customers' needs and preferences within programs or initiatives.
• Analyze complex challenges during project execution, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions.
• Assist in leading complex, cross-functional program activities, ensuring alignment with program outcomes and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement by partnering with a mentor and participating in workshops and training opportunities.
• Contribute to continual process improvement initiatives to enhance program delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify program risks and issues early and assist in developing mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a product management, product operations or related role in a SaaS organization, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, project and program management concepts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in collaborating effectively within fast-paced team environments.
• Ability to evolve alongside new challenges and environments.
• High ownership and accountability mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Out-of-the-box thinker and results-driven problem solver.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI, Qualtrics.
• Preferred certifications include: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, LPM.
