Our high-growth technology company is looking for an experienced project/program manager to drive the implementation of project, programs, enhancements of applications and integrations for our Business Systems organization. The role will report to the Director of Business Operations for the Transformation Office. The Senior Technical Program Manager must have broad experience and knowledge of SaaS business applications, agile delivery framework and software development lifecycle processes including a focus on DevOps. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to align stakeholders and successfully deliver multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will manage cross-organization programs, projects, integrations, and migration efforts of varying scale. You will establish a work plan and staffing for initiative activities, managing expectations, scope creep, and impacts to timelines; identify and track dependencies and opportunities for optimization and application rationalization; proactively identify problems and recommend solutions before they become blockers. Your responsibilities will also include planning and execution of activities and aligning resources to ensure that cost, time, and quality goals are met. You will deliver communications around goals, status, risks, and impact with the ability to adapt content to your audience. Performing risk assessments and implementing mitigation plans will be crucial, as will documenting, monitoring, and communicating assumptions and decisions made. You will provide leadership and motivation to team members throughout the initiative life cycle and confer with resources to outline a work plan. Ensuring that requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria are prioritized and clearly defined in Jira stories is essential, as is assisting in prioritizing stories in sprints to align with project and sprint goals. Additionally, you will coordinate or compile the reporting of metrics to measure the success of meeting work effort and company goals. In cases where vendors are included in projects, you will collaborate on aligning and managing the progress of activities. Identifying inter-dependencies between the various stakeholder groups to ensure all are aligned and risks are identified, mitigated, and communicated will be part of your role. You will also ensure that data governance approval processes, Business Systems controls, and best practices are being followed, and identify post-deployment tasks and issues, transitioning application administration to the support team and conducting post-mortems. Standardizing project documentation as templates and maintaining documents, deliverables, issues, and risks on a centralized site will be required. This is a stand-alone position that candidates will be required to work EST hours. Candidates who live within a 45-mile radius of Waltham, MA/Detroit, MI/Denver, CO/Mountain View, CA will be required to work hybrid out of our offices.
