About the position

At Frontier, we are on a mission to connect communities with emerging communications technology, and as a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in this transformation. This position is designed for an individual who can influence cross-functional teams to design innovative consumer products and release new features in Frontier applications. You will have the opportunity to impact the customer experience significantly, as well as the design, architecture, and implementation of cutting-edge products that will be utilized daily by our customers. Success in this role requires maturity, high judgment, technical skills, analytical talent, and strong leadership abilities. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our Dallas, TX or Tampa, FL location to fulfill your work responsibilities. Your strong interpersonal and organizational skills, coupled with a keen attention to detail, will be essential for managing large cross-functional projects across multiple portfolios. You will lead cross-functional teams on new features from design through delivery in Frontier applications, ensuring that all aspects of program management, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality, are meticulously handled. You will also be responsible for risk and critical path management, delivering supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines, and communicating regularly with leadership on status, schedule, risks, and change control. Your role will involve driving effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple teams and vendors while navigating competing priorities. You will work closely with subject matter experts to lead and drive new technology initiatives and evaluations, developing and championing processes for efficiency and scale within our organization. Additionally, you will drive content engagement by partnering with stakeholders and product management, measuring, assessing, and iterating constantly to enhance user benefits. Success in this role hinges on your natural curiosity, your ability to develop a deep understanding of the product's use case, and your capacity to balance strategic thinking with operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams on new features from design through delivery in Frontier applications
  • Own program management including scope, schedule, budget, and quality, along with risk and critical path management
  • Deliver supporting software and services in sync with launch timelines and communicate regularly with the leadership on status, schedule, risks, and change control
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple teams and vendors, navigating competing priorities
  • Work with subject matter experts to lead and drive new technology initiatives and evaluations
  • Develop and champion processes for efficiency and scale in our organization
  • Drive content engagement, through partnering with stakeholders and product management. Measure, assess, and iterate constantly to drive greater user benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with software engineering development teams
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedule
  • 2+ years of technical program management experience, managing financials and resources
  • 3+ years of experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and managing risks
  • 3+ years of experience using data and metrics to make recommendations and drive actions
  • 3+ years of experience working in an agile and/or scrum environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Hands-on experience in building mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications
  • Experience in defining UI and UX for mobile and web applications
  • Understanding of contributed systems design including IoT devices, backend services, and mobile applications

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $140,000
