About the position

The Senior Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the PDM GQCS data analytics team in software development initiatives. This position involves managing projects related to the IQS system, which is essential for the manufacturing and release of materials for clinical and commercial use. The candidate will lead efforts to automate processes and enhance reporting systems, contributing to improved user efficiency and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop analytical and reporting solutions for various projects under the GQCS portfolio.
• Engage with GQC, IT architects, and system managers to understand current architecture, data flows, and downstream integration points to improve data integrity on GQC system integrations.
• Gather requirements, configure systems, conduct unit testing, provide validation support, and assist with deployment and system releases.
• Document, respond to, and resolve system incidents; author configuration work stream deliverables including Design Specifications, User and Functional Requirement Specifications, Reporting Specifications, Work Instructions, and User Manuals.
• Develop reporting, data interfaces, table design, and system auditing and monitoring processes.
• Create and maintain continuous integration and deployment processes, including daily, weekly, and monthly ETL jobs using Alteryx or other analytical tools.
• Develop KPIs and metrics for data management services and forecasting analytics.
• Create system architecture documents describing data flows, integration points, data interfaces, table design, and instrument interfaces.
• Review validation testing results of updated configurations, custom fields, and processing methods.
• Create system configuration and technical support documents covering areas like role-based security, auditing, monitoring, reporting, and usage.
• Troubleshoot and fix production issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a project manager in a technical environment, preferably in data analytics or software development.
• Strong understanding of data management, reporting solutions, and system integrations.
• Experience with Remote Process Automation Technology, specifically BluePrism.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Alteryx.
• Excellent documentation skills, including the ability to create technical specifications and user manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
