About the position

The Senior Technical Project Manager will lead a critical data encryption initiative, focusing on the implementation of data encryption for both data in motion and at rest. This role requires extensive experience in Informatica PowerCenter and involves creating a comprehensive project plan, managing stakeholder collaboration, and ensuring compliance with organizational data protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop a detailed project plan for implementing data encryption, setting clear timelines and milestones by collaborating with application teams.
• Access and analyze Informatica PowerCenter repositories, connection details, and other relevant configurations to create an accurate inventory for encryption implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and security to align project goals with organizational data protection standards and compliance requirements.
• Lead and coordinate the encryption implementation efforts, working closely with technical teams to ensure smooth deployment.
• Identify, document, and remediate any performance issues or dependencies that arise as part of the encryption process.
• Track project progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure the project adheres to deadlines, quality standards, and budget.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager with a focus on data management and security projects.
• Strong background in Informatica PowerCenter and familiarity with its repository structure, connection details, and configuration best practices.
• Proven experience in data encryption projects, specifically encryption of data in motion and at rest.
• Experience in Microsoft Project and Excel to create Pivot Tables, charts and graphs.
• Excellent understanding of data integration and ETL processes, with the ability to assess potential impacts of encryption on these workflows.
