About the position

The Senior Technical Project Manager for Partner Success at Blizzard Entertainment's Battle.net & Online Products (B&OP) organization is responsible for driving the success of partnerships in China. This role involves managing project execution, product strategy, and live operations support for first- and second-party integrations. The ideal candidate will act as the main contact for various teams, establish strong relationships with partner teams, and champion continuous improvement to enhance project efficiency and visibility.

Responsibilities

• Establish and build strong relationships and clear communication lines with Chinese partner teams.
• Drive, develop, and maintain a strong understanding of Battle.net features and best practices for integration.
• Collaborate on product strategy, utilizing industry expertise to generate ideas for new products or services.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners, serving as the principal point of contact for technical implementation.
• Provide regular communication to ensure transparency and progress of projects, cutting through ambiguity to identify core issues.
• Communicate dates, capacity, and prioritization to ensure high-profile deliverables are executed on time.
• Utilize work systems that support effective and balanced work while improving project predictability and innovation.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing end-to-end releases of a well-known software product.
• Detailed knowledge of software lifecycle and project management methodologies.
• Self-driven with the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a love for collaboration.
• Strong understanding of the requirements gathering and intake process.
• Experience working within global and cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail with an emphasis on measurement.
• Possess a strong interest in the video game industry and community.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with gaming hardware landscape including PC, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, iOS, and Android.
