About the position

The Senior Technical Project Manager at ThinkShout will lead multidisciplinary teams in the design and development of websites for nonprofits and mission-driven clients. This role requires a strong background in managing Drupal and WordPress projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and effectively navigating project complexities. The position emphasizes communication, budget management, and team leadership to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing expected project outcomes and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Creating timelines, updating budget trackers, and driving task completion
  • Defining project plans and requirements
  • Holding team members and clients accountable to shared vision/goals
  • Navigating uncertainty and new information with grace and agility
  • Managing cross-disciplinary teams
  • Providing structure and functional supervision to internal team members
  • Engaging with client stakeholders, team members, and vendors to steer the whole project life cycle
  • Leading efficient project meetings with clear objectives, guided discussion, and actionable take-aways
  • Understanding the software lifecycle and basic content management systems including WordPress and Drupal

Requirements

  • 5+ years project management experience in agency or professional services environments
  • Experience with time and materials as well as fixed fee or retainer client billing
  • Scoping and managing project budgets, including projects over $100,000
  • Experience with Drupal and WordPress build projects and comfort with both admin interfaces
  • Familiarity with hybrid project management methodologies and techniques
  • Expert knowledge of Google Suite
  • Experience with Asana (or similar project management tooling)
  • Familiarity with Github/Github Projects
