About the position

The Senior Technical Project Manager at Schneider Electric is responsible for managing complex Prefab Customer project orders, ensuring project execution exceeds customer expectations. This role involves overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, while maintaining effective communication with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Validate the project's scope of work, schedule, cost, and contract terms with the customer.
• Develop and maintain project organization, schedule, and risk register while communicating with the customer.
• Monitor project execution through kick-off meetings, project schedules, and technical requirements exchange.
• Lead the monitoring and control of project performance, including task completion verification and issue resolution.
• Close out the project with financial reconciliation, equipment verification, and training support.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required, preferably in an Engineering discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience managing projects/programs.
• Strong leadership skills, including team leading and employee mentoring.
• Advanced understanding of project management and project finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Project, and Excel.

Nice-to-haves

• PMP (PMI), CPMP/CPMA SE Internal Certification preferred.
• Understanding of systems integration, HVAC, or other building or electronic control systems.
• Knowledge of Schneider Electric products and Electrical Enclosure integration.
