About the position

HealthEdge is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead critical initiatives in its Infrastructure area, including migration to Cloud. This role is pivotal in driving infrastructure strategy and ensuring seamless operations. The Technical Project Manager will coordinate and manage multiple initiatives, optimize processes, and drive strategy within the Infrastructure Organization, ensuring alignment across teams and effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of leadership.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the VP of Infrastructure, providing insights and recommendations on key initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation for executive meetings and decision-making processes.
  • Assist with cross-department and executive communication, project management, and initiative implementation.
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage budgets and drive financial efficiency.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to key stakeholders and executive leadership, including regular project updates and presentations.
  • Run initiatives within the department including developing timelines, milestones, tracking dependencies, and reporting on progress against the plan.
  • Ensure that appropriate governance and controls are in place to manage projects and maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience managing technical programs in a software development environment, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale, complex programs on time and within budget.
  • Experience with cloud migration initiatives, particularly the migration of workloads from private cloud to public cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong technical background with knowledge of software development methodologies, architecture, and infrastructure.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to create presentations for both direct management and executives.
