About the position

Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager in Ogden, UT. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with project resources and staff. The Senior Technical Project Manager will ensure that assigned projects progress successfully within specified timeframes and budgets, utilizing best practices, methodologies, and frameworks to guarantee on-time and within-budget project delivery. The candidate will manage and execute technology-related projects, assisting assigned resources in meeting project requirements and preparing and submitting deliverables, budgets, and reports. In this position, the Senior Technical Project Manager will establish effective project communication and provide status updates to senior management and stakeholders. Collaboration with IT managers and subject matter experts to define technology requirements is essential. The role also involves preparing agendas and minutes for assigned projects, ensuring that all aspects of project management are covered comprehensively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and proven project management experience, with the ability to work well with diverse personality types and individual business units within the organization. This position requires effective communication skills, both written and oral, as well as experience presenting to groups of 30-40 people, including division representatives. The candidate should be comfortable working with management, leading meetings, and following up on action items, demonstrating self-motivation and experience in project management. Familiarity with risk assessments, adaptability in various project environments, and knowledge of ITIL practices are preferred.
