About the position

Tickets.com is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager who is passionate about fostering innovation and delivering exceptional experiences to baseball fans globally. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Major League Baseball (MLB), Tickets.com is dedicated to providing industry-leading ticketing solutions and enhancing in-stadium experiences that resonate with baseball enthusiasts. In this role, you will serve as a Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master, collaborating within an agile framework alongside top-tier product owners, designers, researchers, and engineers to bring remarkable experiences to market. We are looking for adept agilists who comprehend the intricacies of delivering high-visibility, high-quality products in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our community of Program/Project Managers is committed to exploring the essence of being agile rather than merely doing agile, and we work collaboratively to create environments where our teams can flourish. In this position, you will lead complex multi-team initiatives, closely partnering with product and engineering leaders to define project scope, generate necessary artifacts, manage risks, and plan key milestones. You will assess the maturity of your teams and coach them to enhance their Agile development practices, emphasizing technical excellence, predictable delivery, quality, and fan satisfaction. Your role will involve effectively executing software development iterations throughout the lifecycle of your assigned teams by managing activities, sequencing, dependencies, work effort, duration, and resource requirements. Ensuring the smooth operation of development processes and timely delivery will be crucial. You will also collaborate with other Technical Project Managers to manage external project dependencies effectively. Additionally, you will partner with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with program and enterprise-level strategic priorities. Managing initiative communications will be essential, as you will ensure the effective exchange of information and deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders. You will identify, analyze, and communicate risks across the organizational structure in a professional manner, and you will be adept at navigating ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
