About the position

FinThrive is seeking a proactive and dedicated Technical Project Manager to join our Revenue Insights and Optimization team, specifically supporting the Insurance Discover product line. The ideal candidate will manage optimization projects aimed at delivering cutting-edge solutions, such as integration with other product lines, incorporating AI and other analytic enhancements, and coordinating prioritization in tandem with scrum masters. This role requires a strong project management background with a focus on ensuring project deliverables are met efficiently. In this position, you will oversee the progress of projects, ensuring all tasks and action items are completed on time. You will schedule and facilitate meetings, follow up on action items, and proactively address dependencies to keep projects on track. Collaboration with internal and external teams is essential to manage dependencies on external datasets and align project goals. You will take initiative in outlining project dependencies and sequencing tasks appropriately to ensure smooth delivery; do not wait for each action but proactively manage and execute tasks. Additionally, you will work alongside Scrum Masters and Product Owners who are responsible for writing and tracking JIRA stories, focusing on traditional project management responsibilities rather than Scrum Master duties.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 8+ years of Technical Project management experience
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability in managing projects
• Basic understanding of technology to effectively communicate and manage project requirements
• Proven experience exhibiting proactive behavior in reaching out, scheduling, and executing project-related actions

Nice-to-haves

• PMP Certification
• Experience in managing projects within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
• Familiarity with data science models and predictive analytics
• Understanding of SQL and data management
