About the position

The Senior Technical Project/Program Manager is responsible for leading complex projects within a nationally recognized health insurance company. This role involves creating partnerships with business owners to define, plan, and execute project deliverables throughout the project life cycle. The position requires managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring compliance with industry best practices, and engaging with various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Create a consultative partnership with business owners to define, plan, and execute project deliverables.
• Lead high complexity projects and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Engage delivery partners within IT, architecture, analytics, and enterprise security for software development projects.
• Ensure deliverables from business and technology partners are produced and approved according to project schedules.
• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, raising awareness across the portfolio.
• Develop, refine, and monitor project budgets, managing hours and dollar allocations.
• Proactively manage the change request process for project scope, schedule, and budget changes.
• Drive project deliverables and compliance through the vendor contracting process.
• Manage execution of contracted work to ensure compliance and timely receipt of deliverables.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in project management.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods.
• Strong skills in budget management and financial processes.
• Ability to identify and manage project risks and dependencies.
