About the position

CWS is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to lead full life cycle recruiting efforts and support leadership in expanding our business. This role is pivotal in identifying, recruiting, contacting, and screening candidates to fill various company vacancies while also assisting with new business opportunities. The Senior Technical Recruiter will be responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of job descriptions and requirements to effectively source qualified candidates. This includes posting positions and utilizing various recruiting sites to attract quality candidates through recruiter networks, job sites, and social media platforms. The recruiter will review online applications, evaluate candidate qualifications, and conduct pre-screen interviews to assess candidate experience, availability, interest level, and salary expectations. Collaboration with management is essential to select qualified candidates and create offer letters as per their direction. The Senior Technical Recruiter will manage all offer letters and paperwork for selected candidates, ensuring smooth communication with applicants up until their start date. In addition to these responsibilities, the recruiter will proactively build CWS's talent pipeline and network of potential candidates by identifying, screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates for future growth targets and goals. Maintaining appropriate records and creating tracking reports related to compiled research is also a key aspect of this role. The recruiter may assist in determining titles and salaries, ensuring compliance with budget and contractual requirements, and will help create, edit, and modify position descriptions to ensure advertisements meet all necessary requirements. Collaboration with the business development team to develop recruitment campaigns that align with proposal requirements is also expected. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a thorough understanding of job descriptions and requirements to source qualified candidates.
  • Post positions and source recruiting sites to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Review online applications, evaluate candidate qualifications, and conduct pre-screen interviews.
  • Work with management to select qualified candidates and create offer letters.
  • Manage all offer letters and paperwork for selected candidates.
  • Maintain communications with applicants up until start date.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in full life cycle technical recruitment.
  • Experience recruiting engineers, IT, and project support candidates for the government sector.
  • Ability to maintain strict levels of confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Flexible and willing to take on more responsibilities as needed.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
  • Strong communication skills are required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a government contracting environment is preferred.
