About the position

The Senior Technical Recruiter for AI will play a crucial role in partnering with a team of over 350 researchers and engineers to recruit top AI talent globally. This position involves managing the full life-cycle recruitment process for mid-to-senior level roles within the AI Department, ensuring a smooth recruiting process and an outstanding candidate experience aligned with Bloomberg's business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own and implement the recruiting strategy for roles within the AI Department.
  • Fully understand the needs of hiring managers and collaborate with them to lead the full lifecycle recruitment process.
  • Source candidates directly through external industry networking events and various online recruiting tools.
  • Stay informed on market trends affecting AI groups and advise the business accordingly.
  • Manage and review resumes, schedule interviews, negotiate offers, and transition candidates to the onboarding team.
  • Provide continuous feedback to candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR business partners, immigration, and relocation teams to onboard candidates quickly.
  • Drive the company's brand through social media, industry conferences, and open house events.
  • Partner with academic and diversity organizations to enhance recruitment strategies and build a diverse candidate pipeline.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of recent recruiting experience, particularly in the Artificial Intelligence space.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and key concepts such as NLP, neural networks, and deep learning.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML libraries and development frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
  • Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to execute assignments and make independent decisions with limited information.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and HR information systems.
  • Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers to build inclusive teams.
