About the position

As a Senior Technical Recruiter for our Product team at Verkada, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, recruiting, and closing talented professionals to join our rapidly growing organization. Partnering closely with our Senior Vice President of Product, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, which includes sourcing passive talent, maintaining a healthy candidate pipeline, delivering offers, and successfully closing top candidates. This position offers exposure to a variety of roles within the Product organization, ranging from MBA interns to Product Pricing Strategy and Operations roles, as well as multiple levels of Product Managers. Given that Verkada is one of the fastest-growing companies in Silicon Valley, your contributions will be essential to our continuous growth and success. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with the Product team and leverage your expertise to implement effective hiring strategies tailored to the market. You will also be responsible for making compelling presentations to candidates about Verkada and the Product team, showcasing our unique value proposition. Additionally, you will organize and host remote and on-campus University Recruiting events to attract top talent, particularly MBA candidates. As we continue to scale, you will partner with your teammates to identify and implement improvements to our hiring processes, ensuring that we remain competitive in attracting the best talent available.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process: source passive talent, maintain a healthy pipeline, deliver offers, and close top candidates
  • Develop relationships with the Product team and contribute your expertise on effective hiring strategies for the market
  • Make compelling presentations to candidates about Verkada and the Product team
  • Organize and host remote and on-campus University Recruiting events
  • Partner with teammates to make improvements to our hiring processes as we continue to scale

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university
  • 7+ years of successful full-cycle technical recruiting
  • Consistently able to generate a well-targeted and high-quality candidate pipeline for complex and difficult to find roles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on timely and transparent communication
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with hiring managers using a data-driven approach
  • Adept at managing competing priorities and navigating a fast-paced startup environment
  • Commitment to excellence and top performance

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience recruiting for Product roles, especially for complex B2B product companies
  • Experience and interest in University Recruiting to continue building our pipeline of top MBA candidates
  • Knowledge of Greenhouse, Covey, and GoodTime
