About the position

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter at BAE Systems is responsible for providing top-tier talent acquisition services for the Electronic Systems Sector. This fast-paced role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand job requirements, developing recruitment strategies, and guiding candidates through the selection process. The recruiter will leverage their full life-cycle recruiting experience to build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain accurate documentation throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Work with managers to understand job duties and required skills during intake meetings.
  • Recommend, build, and execute multifaceted recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent.
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills and experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with BAE Systems leaders and HR team members.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews by providing detailed information about the company and job expectations.
  • Extend offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of hiring managers.
  • Stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and searches through the applicant tracking tool.
  • Consult with business on staffing and recruitment policies, ensuring compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity mandates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of directly related experience.
  • Recruiting experience with Engineering and Information Technology candidates.
  • Experienced in all full life-cycle recruiting components including sourcing, qualifying, and assessing candidates.
  • Experience handling high volume recruiting (35 Requisitions).
  • Proven ability to maintain accurate documentation on all candidates and searches within an applicant tracking system.
  • Must be Internet savvy and experienced in mining online databases.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to learn and adapt new recruiting ideas and processes.
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Ability to quickly learn systems and assimilate technical information.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions on a national level.
  • Certifications in the field (such as AIRS, LinkedIn Recruiter) are favorable.
  • Defense industry experience including OFCCP regulations is highly preferred.
  • Recruiting for niche engineering disciplines such as Cyber, FPGA, RF, Electronic Warfare.
  • Recruiting in the Aerospace & Defense industry.
