This role also involves mentoring team members to enhance their recruitment capabilities, thereby contributing to the overall success of the recruitment team. In this position, the Senior Technical Recruiter must possess in-depth knowledge of technology profiles and tech stacks, which is essential for effectively recruiting for technical roles. The recruiter will build and maintain a strong candidate network through personal connections, industry organizations, educational institutions, and social media platforms. This proactive approach to talent networking is crucial for ensuring a diverse and qualified candidate slate. The Senior Technical Recruiter will also utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HRIS tools to maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all recruitment activities and employment decisions. This includes providing pipeline updates, conversion metrics, and adhering to recruiter KPIs. As a subject matter expert in recruitment best practices, the Senior Technical Recruiter will mentor and guide team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing recruitment efficiency. Additionally, the role involves negotiating complex offers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements for both candidates and the organization, while providing a high-touch, engaging experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the recruitment process for technical roles.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of recruitment activities using ATS and HRIS tools.
  • Provide pipeline updates and conversion metrics, adhering to recruiter KPIs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in recruitment best practices and technology utilization.
  • Mentor and guide team members to enhance their recruitment capabilities.
  • Negotiate complex offers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network of candidates through various channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or Human Resources.
  • 6-8 years of experience in recruitment, particularly for technical roles.
  • Strong experience in a corporate environment implementing staffing programs and processes.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with potential candidates.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience sourcing candidates through creative channels, including networking and social media.
  • Five years of experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or HRIS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
