About the position

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at AdvanSoft International, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between technical talent and project requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate with clients and stakeholders to identify resource gaps and the specific needs for technical resources that align with project outcomes. You will work closely with the technical team and delivery managers to elicit detailed requirements for each position, ensuring that the profiles sourced meet the necessary qualifications and skills. In this role, you will be responsible for publishing and promoting job openings across various technological forums, including GitHub and application tracking systems like Stack Overflow. Your efforts will focus on identifying suitable candidates through both traditional and innovative methodologies. Screening candidates will be a critical part of your job, where you will assess their communication skills and experiential history, while also explaining the hiring process to ensure a seamless experience for all involved. You will collaborate with delivery managers, technical teams, and HR managers to evaluate candidate profiles against established standards, ensuring that only the most suitable candidates are considered for the position. Conducting thorough reference and background verification checks for finalized candidates will also be part of your responsibilities, with results reported to the HR manager and leadership team using analytical methods. Maintaining constant communication with technical teams, hiring managers, delivery managers, and HR business partners will be essential for evaluating the performance of new hires and existing employees. You will also conduct periodic meetings with the leadership team and technical staff to stay updated on current technology trends, which will inform the development of new hiring practices and strategies aimed at fostering sustainable employee performance. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and conduct workshops at engineering schools and technology institutes, where you will explain current trends and technological advancements to students, helping to prepare them for careers in the tech industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology Management, Engineering Management, Human Resources, or related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in technical recruiting and understanding of technology roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze candidate profiles and match them with job requirements.
  • Experience in conducting reference and background checks.
