About the position

The Senior Technical Recruiter at Snap Inc. plays a crucial role in identifying and attracting top-tier software engineers to enhance the company's core products. This position involves providing full-cycle recruiting support for engineering teams, serving as a strategic talent advisor, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. The recruiter will analyze hiring metrics to refine recruiting strategies and contribute to the overall recruitment lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and attract top-tier software engineers to shape and develop key features used by millions of Snapchatters.
  • Provide full-cycle recruiting support for Engineering teams, ensuring efficient and effective processes.
  • Serve as a strategic talent advisor, partnering with hiring managers and cross-functional teams to guide hiring decisions.
  • Leverage diverse sourcing methods, networking, and evaluation strategies to recruit world-class engineering talent.
  • Champion and enhance Snap Inc.'s candidate experience, ensuring a positive and professional journey from start to finish.
  • Analyze hiring metrics and trends to refine and implement innovative recruiting strategies.
  • Prioritize and fill high-impact roles critical to the company's growth and success.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of the end-to-end recruitment life cycle through contributions to projects and org-wide initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting for an array of software engineering roles, inclusive of specialized and niche positions.
  • Experience working closely with HR, Sourcing, compensation, and coordination teams.
  • Experience utilizing the latest sourcing tools and platforms (GEM, Workday, etc.) and ability to creatively identify and engage top software engineering talent.
  • Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ability to prioritize various top priorities.
