About the position

EquipmentShare is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join their corporate office in Columbia, MO. This role is essential for supporting the growth of the technical recruiting department by proactively sourcing and screening top talent, building pipelines, and improving hiring processes. The recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively seek out talent through passive sourcing channels such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Source and screen top talent, talent mapping, and building proactive pipelines.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement technology to scale hiring needs.
  • Develop relationships with managers to understand their departments and hiring needs.
  • Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources to execute innovative strategies for finding quality candidates.
  • Screen resumes and manage candidates throughout the hiring process, from interview preparation to final-offer negotiation.
  • Schedule interviews and manage the interview process.
  • Conduct intakes and interview debriefs.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and maintain contact for a positive candidate experience.
  • Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with internal stakeholders and prepare updates.
  • Collaborate with the Talent team and onboarding team to finalize the offer process.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with current legal standards.
  • Collaborate on future hiring processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in recruiting as a full cycle recruiter.
  • Two or more years recruiting and sourcing for technical teams, including Software Engineering.
  • Experience working with various technical teams and positions preferred.
  • Three or more years working directly with executive level leaders.
  • Ability to understand and discuss key technical concepts with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to understand key priorities for each role.
  • Ability to identify potential candidates from diverse technical backgrounds.
  • Ability to identify candidates with technical expertise for an agile environment.
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies within Talent Acquisition.
  • Strong skills in sourcing passive candidates.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of productivity software and database management.
  • Familiarity with job boards and HR-specific computer systems.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse, Grayscale, Indeed/Glassdoor, and Workday preferred.
  • Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in human resources management or related field.
  • Proficiency with ATS systems and knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • Experience in developing recruitment strategy.
  • Ability to travel when required.
