About the position

As a Senior Technical Support Engineer at Ping Identity, you will be responsible for handling complex support issues for global customers using various Ping Identity products. This role involves assisting with escalated customer engagements, managing customer expectations, and contributing to the knowledge base. You will work within a collaborative environment that emphasizes digital freedom and diversity, ensuring that customers are successful in the application and maintenance of their Ping solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with escalated customer engagements
  • Investigate issues and queries using existing knowledge and test labs
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Communicate frequently and proactively follow up with customers via phone, email, and internet meeting systems
  • Actively participate in the community system (public facing Q&A)
  • Contribute to the knowledge base

Requirements

  • Linux-based or Windows server OS management
  • Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Directory Services
  • Networking including Load Balancers, Firewalls, IP, DNS
  • PKI, X.509 certificates
  • Internet Protocols (HTTPS/SSL/TLS etc)
  • Ability to troubleshoot web-based applications using HTTP tracing tools and log analysis
  • Experience with APIs, including knowledge of REST and SCIM
  • Experience with scripting languages
