About the position

The Senior Technical Business Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining applications managed by the Enterprise Systems team at Computershare. This position involves working closely with cross-functional Agile teams to define business requirements, manage project backlogs, and ensure compliance with business standards. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and a solution-oriented mindset to address complex issues and drive project success.

Responsibilities

  • Perform business analysis and administrative tasks to enhance and maintain applications.
  • Assist in the preparation of clear requirements for a well-balanced Product Backlog.
  • Manage and prioritize the scrum's backlog and plan stories for upcoming sprints.
  • Determine acceptance criteria for final UAT code.
  • Ensure requirements align with business standards and objectives.
  • Manage risks associated with projects and ensure compliance with laws and internal policies.
  • Research and resolve production issues with operations and technical teams.
  • Clarify ambiguities and improve customer experience based on business requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of IT industry experience.
  • 3+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • 2+ years of Agile experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of online authentication, authorization, fraud, or security.
  • Process improvement experience.
  • ADO experience in large, regulated organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale initiatives and partner with stakeholders.
  • Experience in process discovery, modeling, and improvement activities.
  • Ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into executive communications.
  • Experience presenting and communicating effectively via remote tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in document management solutions (Kofax/Tungsten Total Agility, FileNet).
  • Degree in IT or related discipline.
  • Relevant Business Analysis courses or qualifications.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Experience in IBM Business Automation Workflow.
