About the position

The Senior Technical Writer at SecuriGence is responsible for creating and maintaining various types of technical documentation to support the company's mission in delivering essential technology services. This role involves collaborating with engineers and subject matter experts to gather technical requirements and ensure that documentation aligns with company standards and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and product managers to gather and understand technical requirements.
• Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Support Guides, Work Instructions, High-Level Diagrams, Low-Level Diagrams, Specification Sheets, and Process Documentation.
• Develop and utilize visual aids like diagrams, flowcharts, and screenshots to enhance documentation clarity.
• Ensure documentation aligns with company style guides and quality standards.
• Participate in product development and testing cycles to gain in-depth product knowledge.
• Manage a documentation repository and version control systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years of experience as a Technical Writer in an Information Technology environment.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
• Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and documentation tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence).
• Experience with diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
