About the position

As a Project Manager in Walmart's InfoSec department, this role is crucial for optimizing the Technical Portfolio Organization and supporting the security strategy outcomes through effective portfolio management practices. The position focuses on delivering key strategic efforts, developing roadmaps, and maintaining project schedules while engaging with technical teams and stakeholders to execute planned work. The team is dedicated to advancing security in OT/IoT, Mobile, and AI technologies, ensuring the safety of connected devices and managing digital risks.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders and multiple engineering teams to align on a shared vision for Information System Security solutions.
  • Enable business value by collaborating with security engineering teams to develop project/release plans and drive project delivery.
  • Facilitate change management within the organization related to project and program delivery.
  • Work with stakeholders and engineering teams to define project scope and delivery schedules for complex projects.
  • Estimate Level of Effort, risk, and mitigation plans, using data to drive prioritization.
  • Create and represent project expenditure needs/forecasts and monitor spending for current projects.
  • Apply specialized knowledge in OT/IoT, Mobile, and AI Security to ensure robust security solutions are developed and delivered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 5 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area if no degree is held.
  • Experience leading IT initiatives across various project management methodologies.
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience in managing Cyber Security projects is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and experience in managing full end-to-end complex projects is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field and 2 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences and knowledge of implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
