About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of a next-generation Contact Center Solution. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create scalable, cloud-based solutions that enhance user experience for customers. The engineer will execute complex cloud initiatives, develop cloud-native microservices, and automate cloud infrastructure provisioning, while adhering to best practices and standards in engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Execute on complex technology Cloud initiatives with broad impact to external and internal customers.
  • Develop cloud native microservices and modern event-driven solutions.
  • Automate the provisioning of Azure/GCP and hybrid Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
  • Champion standards and best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior engineering managers, leads, and architects to resolve technical issues.
  • Work closely with Product Team and Vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of Contact Center industry experience with design, development, testing, and integration.
  • Proven knowledge in contact center subdomains such as IVR/IVA, NLU/NLP, Routing, and Analytics.
  • 4+ years of experience with Node JS, JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, and NoSQL Databases.
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud native Microservices and Deep Domain Driven Design.
  • 2+ years working with GCP or alternate public/hybrid cloud.
  • 1+ years of experience with GenAI, LLMs, and conversational bots.
  • 1+ years working with machine learning frameworks.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of experience with real-time low latency front-end Web applications.
  • 2+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks for Unit testing and API Testing.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with TrueCD and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and GitHub.
  • Scripting and infrastructure automation experience with Python/Go, Shell, etc.
  • Professional cloud certification on Azure/GCP or other cloud providers.
