About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of a next-generation Contact Center Solution. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative, scalable solutions using advanced cloud technologies, enhancing user experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute on complex technology Cloud initiatives with broad impact to external and internal customers.
• Develop cloud native microservices and modern event-driven solutions, automating the provisioning of Azure/GCP and hybrid Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Champion standards and best practices for engineering and large-scale technology solutions, including design, development, and automated testing.
• Influence and lead technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives based on industry best practices and new technologies.
• Collaborate with senior engineering managers, leads, and architects to resolve technical issues and achieve goals.
• Work in a globally distributed team to provide innovative Cloud-centric solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Team and Vendors to develop and deploy Cloud services that meet customer expectations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 4+ years of Contact Center industry experience with design, development, testing, and integration with vendors and business applications.
• Proven knowledge in contact center subdomains such as IVR/IVA, NLU/NLP, Routing, and Analytics including AI/ML optimization.
• 4+ years of experience with Node JS, JAVA, Spring Boot, Kafka, Distributed Caches, Elastic Search, GraphQL, and NoSQL Databases.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud native Microservices designed for massive scale and resiliency, deployed on PCF/VMWare Tanzu, K8s, or Serverless technologies.
• 2+ years working with GCP or alternate public/hybrid cloud and delivering products with cloud services at scale.
• 1+ years of experience with GenAI, LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and conversational bots.
• 1+ years working with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

Nice-to-haves

• 2+ years of experience with real-time low latency front-end Web applications using React, Redux, and Typescript.
• 2+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks for Unit testing and API Testing.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with TrueCD, DevOps, and Cucumber.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and conducting process improvements.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and GitHub.
• Scripting and infrastructure automation experience with Python/Go, Shell, and PowerShell.
• Professional cloud certification on Azure/GCP or other cloud providers.
• Full stack application development experience is a plus.
• Understanding of Network Security and OWASP Security practices.
